Most comparison pages are written from other comparison pages. Ours are written from the products. The method is simple and strict:
- We load each product's official site — and its pricing page where one exists — on the verification date shown on every card.
- Prices, tiers, platforms and features are recorded only as those pages state them. If a site is unreachable or bot-blocked, the entry says so.
- A field a site doesn't state is shown as '—'. We never fill a gap from memory, another roundup, or a guess.
- Every entry lists a real weakness — including our own products (TakeP1 and Dealr appear in our lists; PickMerit is operated by the team behind them).
- Services that turn out to be dead are listed as no longer operating, not silently dropped.
- Stale data is worse than no data: when we re-verified our own seed research from earlier in 2026, several prices had already changed. The verified date on each card is the promise.
If you spot something a site has changed since our verification date, the fix is a re-verification away.
